These council meetings are open to all parents with children in the Mandarin Immersion program. Parents of future students to the program or other interested parties are welcome to attend to learn more about this program and parent support organization, and to talk with parents with children already in the program. Typically, we have about 40 parents attend these meetings. Representatives from the school administration, the district, the teachers, and CIPCF typically give updates related to this program. Child-care (free) is provided in an adjacent room by high school volunteers.
